James Medoro, 62, of Hopelawn NJ, passed away December 17th 2020. Jimmy was born in Staten Island NY where he made his career as a bakery manager for over 25 years for local grocery stores such as Waldbaums, King Kullen, as well as Stop and Shop. Jimmy also serves as a union rep for local 338 where he consistently made himself available to fellow co-workers for questions and/or concerns. As a young boy he enjoyed Building & flying Rockets and delivering the neighborhood newspapers. In His teenage years he developed a love for magic, music & bowling on the Port Richmond High School Bowling team. He carried his passion of bowling into his adult life, which he shared with his wife and children. Through his amazing and loving personality, he made many friends within the bowling community for which he was able to share his love of the game and even bowl a few perfect 300 games. Jimmy enjoyed spending time with his family on vacations, trips to Villa Roma & Atlantic City, Vegas & Seaside, the Summer Sundays spent at his brother’s pool with all of his family, and countless crabbing trips with his children nieces and nephews. He enjoyed going to concerts, blasting the sound bar way to loud with either new singers on the voice, or classic rock such as Jethro Tull, Billy Joel, Elton John, and the Beatles just to name a few of his favorites. Jimmy’s “award winning personality”, kind smile, funny faces, and quick sarcasm drew his friend’s family and even strangers at concerts closer to him. His heart was unmeasurable, and he has left his mark on everyone who has ever had the pleasure of knowing him.
“It may be quite simple now that it’s done, I hope you don’t mind, I hope you don’t mind that I put down in words how wonderful life was while you were in the world”
