Anna Bozena Pietranek (nee Pasnik), 57 of Perth Amboy, entered into eternal rest on August 4, 2020. Born in Warsaw, Poland to Waldemir and Jadwiga Pasnik, Anna emigrated with her family from Poland to Bayonne at the age of ten and attended Bayonne High School. She was a longtime resident of Perth Amboy, moving there in 1983 to raise her family with Lech Pietranek.
While her children attended Ukrainian Assumption School, she was an
active volunteer at the school and was affectionately known as
“The Sticker Lady”, passing out stickers to students during lunch
periods and spreading joy. Anna and her daughter spent plenty of time
together sending GIFs and their thoughts on the shows they loved to
watch together. Anna was a fan of both the New York Yankees and
the New Jersey Devils and shared emoticons via text with her son
to celebrate each Yankees run or Devils goal. Anna also loved her toy
poodles, Maggie and Baby, who both brought her a decade of joy.
Anna had a world class sense of humor and could lighten up any room
that she entered with her infectious energy. She will be missed by
all who knew and loved her.
Anna is predeceased by her parents, Waldemir and Jadwiga Pasnik. She
is survived by her brother, Gregory Pasnik, and her children Agnes and
