Leonor Ariadela, 81 of Perth Amboy, passed away on Saturday, May 26, 2018 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick with her family by her side.
Leonor was born in Callao, Peru, and came to the United States 1988 and settled in Paterson, then to Perth Amboy 21 years ago. She was employed by Puerto Rican Association of Human Development as a cool in their cafeteria for about 10 years. She retired in 2007. She was a parishioner of the Most Holy Name of Jesus Parish at Holy Trinity Church.
She is preceeded in death by her devoted husband Victor Zuniga, who passed away in 2006; loving daughter of Moises Ariadela and Carmen Paz.
She is survived by her beloved children Ana Zuniga and her husband Javier Munamte, Emma Zuniga, Gina Zuniga, Martha Zuniga and her husband Humberto Belleti, Willy Zuniga, Jorge Zuniga and his wife Cristina Sanchez, Jesus Zuniga and Fabian Zuniga and his wife Athenas Garcia; loving sister of Magda, Marcelina, Antonio and Victor Ariadela; adored grandmother of 26; cherished aunt of many nieces, nephews and cousins.
A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, June 1, 2018 at 10 am at the Gustav J. Novak Funeral Home, 419 Barclay Street, Perth Amboy. Interment will follow at Alpine Cemetery. Visiting is on Thursday from 5 ~ 9 pm.
