Juan "Cuto" M Sanchez

Juan "Cuto" M. Sanchez, 76 of Keasbey, formally of Perth Amboy, peacefully passed away on Tuesday, January 2, 2018 at JFK Medical Center, Edison with his family by his side. 

Juan was born in San Sebastian, Puerto Rico and came to Perth Amboy 54 years ago. He was employed by C & C Lift Trucks, Edison for 35 years as their mechanic. He retired in 1996. He was a parishioner of Most Holy Name of Jesus Parish at Our Lady of Hungary, a member of Santo Nombre de Jesus, RICA in La Asuncion Church and a former member of the Knights of Columbus, San Salvador Counsel 299, Perth Amboy.  

He is preceded in death by his loving parents Juan & Carmen ( nee Mendez ) Sanchez and his brother Pedro Jaime Sanchez.

He is survived by his devoted wife of 54 years Amelia ( nee Cortes ) Sanchez; beloved father of Esther and her husband Anthony Morales, Maria and her husband Benjamin Edwards, Mildred and her husband Laszlo Lengyel, Juan Jr. and his wife Lolita, Manuel and his wife Yolanda, Luis and his wife Judith and David and his wife Rachel Sanchez; dear brother of Esther Mercado, Juan "Tato", Juan Antonio, Ann  and Olga E. Sanchez; adored grandfather of 21 and great ~ grandfather of 13; cherished uncle of many nieces and nephews. 

We begin to leave on Monday, January 8, 2018 at 9:15 am from the Gustav J. Novak Funeral Home, 419 Barclay Street, Perth Amboy for a funeral mass at 10 am at Most Holy Name of Jesus Parish at Holy Trinity Church. Interment will follow at Our Lady of Hungary Cemetery, Fords. Visiting is on Sunday from 2 ~ 6 pm.
