Andrew  Curry, Jr., 98 of Perth Amboy, passed away on Tuesday, August 1, 2017 at Raritan Bay Medical Center,  Perth Amboy, with his loving family by his side. 

Andy was a humble, quite man and was born in Bainbridge, Georgia. He came to Perth Amboy 70 years ago. He served his country during World War II in the United States Army and achieved the rank of Sergeant. He was employed by General Motors, Linden for over 30 years. He retired in 1981. 

He is preceded in death by his loving parents Andrew Sr. and Ella ( nee Henry ); grandfather of Matthew Christopher; dear brother of Willie C., Rita, Rachel, Essie, Laura and Loudester "Topsy" Curry.   

Andy is survived by his devoted wife of 76 years Lillian ( nee Grant ); beloved father of Andrew  III and his wife Betty, Michael and his wife Rosetta, Joseph and his wife Corinne, Cheryl and Yvonne Curry; adored grandfather of 7 and great ~ grandfather of 4; cherished uncle of many nieces and nephews. 

We begin to leave on Monday, August 7, 2017 at 9:15 am from the Gustav J. Novak Funeral Home, 419 Barclay Street, Perth Amboy for a funeral mass at 10 am at Most Holy Name of Jesus Parish at Holy Trinity Church. Interment will follow at Clover Leaf Memorial Park, Woodbridge. Visiting is on Sunday from 2 ~ 6 pm.
